What is a domain name?

Yea, good question. A domain in laymen’s language is the address by which you can be found on the internet. For ex: regnest.com is our domain, and you can find us by typing regnest.com on the internet. It is your particular location. A ‘dot’ separates domain names in two parts for ex. regnest ’.’ com. Both parts have a role, the left side of the dot is your unique name or like house no. and right-hand side of the dot is your street address and is also known as Top-Level Domain (TLD). Combination of both is your domain name.
